At four o’clock on Saturday afternoon, April 26th, many members of the Steampunk Empire Symposium shall be stopping for tea. For the delightfully low cost of $12 per person (plus tax and gratuity), attendees can expect a selection of teas accompanied by two plates full of tea time foods.
Tea Option #1 has the first plate with a British Scone with bowls of Strawberry Jam, Molded butter and Whipped Cream, accompanied by a second plate that has 2 Cream Cheese and Cucumber Finger Sandwiches on White, 1 Egg Salad Finger Sandwich on White, 1 Cream Cheese on Marble Bread, 1 Petit Four, 1 Lemon Tart, Cup of Fruit, Cheese and Crackers.
Tea Option #2 has the first plate with a British Scone with bowls of Strawberry Jam, Molded butter and Whipped Cream, and a the second plate has 2 Egg Salad Finger Sandwiches on White, 2 Turkey Sandwiches on White, Cup of Fruit, Vegetable Sticks, 1 Petit Four, and 1 Lemon Tart.
The Additional Dessert Option has 2 mini éclairs, 2 petite fours and 2 lemon tartlets for $6.00, but needs to be purchased as an addition to one of the tea options.
Mustard and Mayonnaise Packets, Honey, Milk and an Assortment of Teas will be on the table to accompany the tea option plates. Lemon served on request; also on request, Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee, Iced Tea, and Water.
The standard plate also comes with a scone, cream, and jam. The Symposium’s second stage is located in the hotel’s beautiful atrium cafe from which the afternoon teas will be serenaded by the gentle ambient music of our resident cellist.
